Event Description:
The Rusty White Charity Bass Challenge is a charity bass fishing tournament intended to benefit Second Harvest Food while demonstrating to businesses that tournament sponsorship is a viable form of advertising and showing the fishing community which businesses support our sport. Entrance fees for the anglers are non-perishable food items which will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank. The event will also have food drive barrels placed at locations (ideally sponsors) through out York County to maximize the amount of food items donated and traffic through the sponsor?s locations. Any remaining proceeds after tournament expenses and payouts will also be donated to Second Harvest Food. The tournament payouts are being paid for by the sponsoring companies and range from $1,000.00 -$100.00.

Tournament Flyers with the Sponsors logos will circulate throughout the greater Charlotte metro area for the next 4 months!
Tournament Rules:
1. Can fish alone or as team.
2. 5 fish limit, 14? each.
3. 1lb penalty for short and dead fish.
4. Must abide by state regulations.
5. No Trolling or ?free-lining?.
6. Livewells will be checked prior to tournament.
7. If more than 5 fish are brought to the scales, that team will be disqualified.
8. All live fish will be released.
9. Life vests (kill switch attached) must be worn any time the combustion engine is running.
9. All fish caught sight fishing must be hooked inside the mouth.
10. A first place tie will be broken by fish-off, all others will be broken by weight of largest fish.
11. No fishing within 50 yards of another contestants anchored boat.
12. Tournament committee reserves the right to request any contestant submit to a polygraph examination.
13. Tournament committee?s decisions are final.
14. Blast-off order determined by registration order.
In signing this application, I/We agree to comply with the tournament rules and decisions of the tournament committee & understand that operating a boat and fishing is potentially dangerous and hereby waive and release all other contestants, tournaments officials and sponsors from all claims, injuries and/or damage that may occur during this event. I/We also agree to receive promotional information from the sponsors of this event in the future.
