Shearon Harris

Fished Shearon Harris today. Water temp in the morning was 50-53 and by the time I had left, I found water that was 60.0. Tough bite today. There were boats EVERYWHERE. It took literally 40 min to put the boat back on the trailer because there was a huge line. I talked to quite a few people and the bite was tough for them too. I caught 2 and one was pretty weak to call it a keeper. Water was dirty but warmer for sure. I fished everything - Shakyhead, crankbait, spinnerbait, lipless (most of the day), jig, square bill. Small fish came on a shakyhead and better fish came on a lipless. Air temp was up to 80. I had to be out there today. I can't believe I didn't get more bites. Frustrating.
