Took my 2 sons and and 2 friends Sunday on the pontoon. Put in at dam and dished near towers with live herring. Caught 17 and missed several more. 40 feet seemed to be the preferred depth. Water there is 190 feet deep and 85 degrees. We were able to catch some bait on sabinki rigs but still bought bait first thing not knowing if we could catch any. Fish ranged from 2 lbs to 10 lbs. Fished from 6am to 9pm. Long day but lots of fun. One friend, it was his first striper and this 15 yr old is hooked. Best times seemed 7am till noon then again at 7pm till dark.
