102014 high rock

went out for a couple of hours trying to see if i could get on the cb bite i keep hearing about. i went into to abbotts creek and ran as many rocky points and rock viens as i could find without any cooperation. finally picked up the pro shimmy jig and caught a couple of little fish and that was it called it a day and went home water is down about 8'

Rusty are they still pulling the water down? Our club is suppose to be fish there on Nov.15th out of Second Creek wildlife, do you think there will be enough water for us to use that ramp, then? Thanks Jelbass &B

hard to say, they can move water soo quickly in and out of high rock. gonna have check day or two before

Have any info on lake water temp.?hoping to be there Sat. Thanks for any info or tips.

water level seems to be holding steady, not sure about temp

I saw on the yadkin lakes site that high rock will be drawn down starting in mid October to -14.0 ft to check for repairs to the bridge on st Matthews road. It is presently at 13.9. It's supposed to be kept down 5 days and then filled back up. Sounds like it's almost where they want it. Hope this helps. LH
