Spinner baits?

Postby Jelbass » Tue Mar 04, 2014 10:17 pm

OK, I've used spinner-baits and done well sometimes on them. I used them mostly around grass and weeds during the summer. Willows blade is mostly what I've used. What blades do you guys use in early spring muddy to dirty water and stain to clear water on your spinner baits and what area do you use them in? Thanks for any tips. May God Bless and in 2014!!!

either willow or colorado, depending on water color and fish activity

In the early spring, I like a small silver Colorado on the front with a little bigger gold Colorado on back in the off colored water with a white/chartreuse skirt. In the muddier water, I like a single big Colorado with a black skirt. In clearer water, I'll go with a small silver Colorado on front with a gold willow leaf on the back with a white skirt.
