my RW series square bill/shallow crankbait rod is 6'9" fiberglass and GREAT for a lipless cb

no, its not really a parabolic, close but not quite, it is fiberglass, its a combination square bill/shallow cb and lipless cb rod

Hi - Rusty's response makes me want to validate my set-up. Currently for lipless crank, I am using a 7'4 Fast, MH action rod w/ a pretty good amount of tip. I just started with this set-up and I am looking to expand my skill set on the lure. So far, I have about a 60% hook-up rate based on the number of times I have been fortunate enough to get bit - the fish I lost, makes me wander if my rod is a little over the top. Any thoughts gents?

first things first, lipless cb are notorious for loosing fish, youre going to loose some regardless. i know some guys that like a graphite rod, i personally like the fiberglass, ecspecially when the water is cold
