Pond fishing

Pond fishing

Postby Richard » Sun Sep 02, 2018 12:36 am

Fished a pond yesterday 9/1 and it was about 10am and fished the shady side from bank with a spro popping frog. They were all over it. I had around six blow ups on it and did not land one bass. I had the legs cut short so it was walking good and did not want them hitting just the legs. The hooks were sharp too , I thought maybe I wasn’t waiting long enough so on one fish I waited till he took it down and my line was swimming off and still did not hook up. Messed that spot up after all that and left sick to my stomach. My drag was locked down too , what gives ????
Thanks
